Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolia and Republic of Korea intend to establish Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). Before it, the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry have
conducted a survey among business people on the agreement.
Out
of more than 120 Mongolian entities and organizations surveyed, 98.4 percent considered it proper to establish EPA between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. Regarding
this matter, a meeting was held on November 5, in which more than
60 representatives of manufacturers, exporters, importers and relevant associations attended.
In his remarks, MNCCI CEO T.Duuren emphasized that it is important that the views of businesspeople should be heard and suggestions should be reflected in the process of the EPA establishment to make the agreement more effective.
