Mining Minister meets Deputy Marshal of the Sejm

Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry G.Yondon on November 23 held a meeting
with Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Gosiewska.
Minister G.Yondon gave brief
information on Mongolian government’s policy and strategy for mining, geology
and heavy industry and measures planned for improvement of the sector’s
legal environment including draft laws. Ms. Małgorzata Gosiewska showed an
interest in cooperating with Mongolia in geology and mining sector.
During the Deputy Sejm Marshal’s visit, the National Geology Office of Mongolia and the Polish Geological Institute established a Memorandum of Understanding on geological cooperation.
