MFA State Secretary receives Ambassador Chai Wenrui

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 29, Secretary
of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar received Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s
Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui to discuss the measures being taken at Zamyn-Uud and Erlian border checkpoints.
Ambassador Chai Wenrui
noted that the corresponding organizations of China have taken measures to improve
protection and prevention against the coronavirus pandemic as a large number of cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Manchuria city, Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Region and the new variant of COVID-19 has been detected in some countries around the
world.
Exchanging
views on the progress of the preparations for the freight transportation between the Zamyn-Uud and Erlian border checkpoints in a way of exchanging
containers, the sides expressed their commitment to cooperate with relevant
organizations to begin the transportation as soon as possible.
