Best works of ‘Climate change impact and desertification’ short film contest selected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The winners of the short film competition announced under the theme ‘Climate change impact and desertification’ within the framework of the ‘One billion trees’ nationwide campaign have been selected.


The competition, initiated by the President of Mongolia and co-organized by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, was announced from October 15 to November 15 and the works of the competition were received through the website https://president.mn/kino. The films were presented through the Facebook page of the Office of the President, and the winners were selected by taking the views of the audience into account.


Six short films have been selected out of more than 67 artworks. The winners are as follows:

Best short film: The grove of my land

Best story: Mother

Best shots: Tenderness

Best documentary film: Sand disaster

Best Animation: Desertification.

Judges' Choice Award: Heritage
