Speaker G.Zandanshater receives Hungarian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On December 23, Speaker
of the State Great Khural G.Zandanshatar received Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia Dr. Borbala Anna Obrusánszky.
Expressing
satisfaction with the appointment of a Mongolist and experienced diplomat from
Hungary, Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar conveyed gratitude on
behalf of the Governor's Office of the capital city for donation of
33 respiratory ventilator from Embassy of Hungary to the hospitals in the
capital city and rural areas.
Ambassador Dr. Borbala Anna Obrusánszky
thanked Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia for
receiving her and called on students from the city and rural
areas to actively take part in the annual scholarship selection announced by
the Government of Hungary for 200 Mongolian students.
She, also, said that ‘The
archeological research on the Hunnu noble burial at Belkhiin Am’ is being successfully
implemented and DNA study of the findings is being conducted in Hungary. Dr. Borbala
Anna Obrusánszky mentioned that a movie about Bat Khan and a documentary
about the Hunnu Empire are being jointly created.
Noting that the education
sector is the priority area in the bilateral relation, Speaker G.Zandanshatar
emphasized that hundreds of young Mongolians are studying in Hungary to become
professionals and making valuable contribution to the development of their home country.
While mentioning that the cooperation is also expanding in the cultural sector,
especially in the field of film making, Speaker Zandanshatar expressed
interest in strengthening the cooperation in this area by introducing Hungarian good practices.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the effort made by Borbala Anna Obrusánszky greatly contributed to the 50 per cent increase of trade turnover between the two countries.
