COVID-19: 188 new cases reported

/MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported today that 188 new cases of COVID-19
have been reported in the past 24 hours. Specifically, 90 cases were confirmed
in Ulaanbaatar city, with 95 cases in rural regions and three
imported cases.
In
addition, two COVID-19 related death has been reported, raising the country’s
death toll to 1,980.
Currently, 2,057
people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 3,718 people
with mild symptoms are being treated at home.
As of today, the
coverage of 1st dose is 69.6 percent (2,265,391) and 2nd dose – 66.5 percent
(2,162,201) of the total population. Moreover, 885,463 people (27.0 percent)
have received 3rd dose or a booster shot of COVID-19
vaccines nationwide.
