WHO hands over diagnostic ultrasound devices

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The World Health Organization (WHO) has been providing consistent support for the improvement of the diagnostic and treatment capacity of Mongolia's health facilities to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.


Today, January 4, WHO has handed over to the Ministry of Health 10 portable ultrasound diagnostic devices and Tamiflu medicine to reduce the workload of the health sector caused by seasonal flu.

The handover ceremony was attended by Dr Enkhbold Sereejav, Minister of Health, Dr Sergey Diorditsa, WHO Representative to Mongolia, and other representatives. Minister of Health, S.Enkhbold voiced his appreciation to the WHO for its support in strengthening Mongolia’s health system and intensifying the measures against the Covid-19 pandemic.
