Capacity building training organized to school psychologists

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Capital City
Education Department, in cooperation with the Anti-Drug Control Department of
the General Police Department and the Meta Psychological Institute, organized a
training on capacity building of psychologists of general education schools.
“The fact that the classroom learning shifted to online due to the Covid-19 pandemic has negatively affected to the adolescents' attitudes. They experience psychological instability, and feel lonely, and depressed. As there is a necessity to provide students with psychological care and services, some general education schools started to employ professional psychologists from this academic year. We are pursuing a policy to employ psychologists in all general education schools,” said Head of Education Department of the Capital City J.Gantulga.
At the training, M.Zorigtbaatar,
senior specialist and O.Oyunbileg, psychologist of the Anti-Drug Control Department
provided information while G.Bayarmaa, Executive Director of the Meta Psychological
Institute give lecture.
