Construction of Undurkhaan Airport is at 70 percent

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The construction of the 2200x30 meter runway at Undurkhaan airport in Khentii aimag is currently at 70 percent complete.
The bidding selection process for construction work of
passenger service facility will be carried out in line with the relevant laws and
regulations by the first quarter of 2022.
The renovation project of ‘Undurkhaan’ airport being realized as a result of agreements reached between the Government of Mongolia and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED). Over
the past weekend, Director General of the Civil Aviation
Authority S.Munkhnasan met with corresponding officials to get familiarized
with the project.
In
addition, the construction of passenger service facility and garage at Deluunboldog airport in Dadal soum, Khentii aimag is at 20 percent.
