Seminar organized on green technology

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry
of Environment and Tourism and the European Union’s Switch Asia program organized
a virtual seminar on ‘Circular economy and green value chain’.
To promote sustainable
consumption and production in Mongolia, the Switch Asia program is giving
technical assistance by supporting small and medium-sized businesses to become
green and providing consulting and seminars for small and medium-sized
businesses.
The seminar focused on
circular economy, reserve management, recycling, product quality improvement,
eco innovations, and clean technologies. It was particularly aimed at
supporting businesses in integrating sustainable consumption and production
into their business model through the provision of information on research
based good practices suitable for Mongolia.
Representatives of companies
introducing green technologies and scholars discussed the environmental
performance of building insulation materials, green value chain, green
products, and green technologies and loans.
