Training on parental engagement in COVID prevention in schools and kindergartens launches

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Training on Parental Engagement in
COVID prevention in schools and kindergartens has launched today, February 14.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, UNICEF Mongolia and
Mongolia Red Cross Society with support from the USAID Mongolia, this training
aims to improve parents’ knowledge on COVID prevention and supporting their
children’s immune and health during the Pandemic and encourage parental
engagement in school and kindergarten activities.
The training will continue online across the country, involving over 7,100 parents and school/KG staff.
The launch of the Training was attended by Mr. Batgerel M.,
Senior Advisor to the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Evariste
Kouassi-Komlan, UNICEF Representative in Mongolia and H.E. Mr. Michael
Klecheski, US Ambassador to Mongolia, who highlighted the importance of the
training and wished success to the participants. Mrs. Bolormaa N, General
Secretary of the Mongolian Red Cross sent online greetings to the training
participants.
