Health Minister meets UNICEF Representative

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Minister of Health S.Enkhbold held a meeting
with UNICEF Representative in Mongolia Evariste Kouassi-Komlan today, February
15.
Representative Evariste Kouassi-Komlan noted that the
Government of Mongolia and the Ministry of Health have organized a rapid and
effective vaccination against COVID-19 by involving over 90 percent of the
target population in the vaccination, and are successfully combating the pandemic.
On behalf of the Government of Mongolia, the Minister of Health
expressed gratitude to the UNICEF for its great support of Mongolia’s response
to the pandemic and for its recurrent supply of medicines and medical
equipment.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues
including maternal and child health, impact of air pollution on health,
sanitation, water supply and immunization.
