Cooperation to be developed with KOICA in cultural and creative industry

Ch.Nomin received Country Director of KOICA Mongolia Kim Jun-mo.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Culture
Ch.Nomin briefed on the policy and legal environment reform in Mongolia's
cultural sector, including the measures being taken to develop cultural and creative
industries. The Republic of Korea is one of the world's leading countries in
the field of culture and creativity, and its infrastructure for cultural and
creative industry is well developed.
As Mongolia has also included an issue of infrastructure establishment
in its policy on the development of cultural and creative industries, the
ministry is willing to expand cooperation by studying the best practices, said
the Minister.
Accepting the Ministry’s proposal, KOICA Country Director expressed
readiness to explore cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the
field of cultural and creative industries.
