Japanese Ski Association presents ski equipment to Mongolian athletes

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Within the framework of
cooperation between the Mongolian and Japanese Ski
Associations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to
Mongolia Mr. H.Kobayashi handed over ski equipment to Mongolian athletes
on March 13.
Present at the ceremony were First Vice-President of the
Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) and member of International Olympic
Committee B.Battushig, the Secretary General of the Mongolian Ski Association
B. Gerelt-Od, and the athletes who represented Mongolia in the Winter
Olympic Games B. Achbadrah and A.Enkhtuul.
During the ceremony, B.Battushig expressed MNOC’s interest in further expanding cooperation with Japanese side in the development of Mongolian winter sports. Moreover, Ambassador Mr. H.Kobayashi was awarded the highest Order of the MNOC in recognition of his contribution to the development of sports in Mongolia.
