National currency in circulation reaches MNT 1.0 trillion

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. According to the National Statistics
Office, the national currency in circulation reached MNT 1.0 trillion at the
end of February 2022, decreased by MNT 138.6 billion (11.8 percent) from the
previous month and increased by MNT 12.1 billion (1.2 percent) from the same
period of the previous year.
According to the preliminary results, at the end of February
2022, the net foreign assets amounted to MNT 1.9 trillion, decreased by MNT
641.1 billion (25.5 percent) from the previous month and decreased by MNT 4.0
trillion (68.2 percent) from the same period of the previous year.
The net domestic assets amounted to MNT 24.3 trillion,
increased by MNT 15.8 billion (0.1 percent) from the previous month and
increased by MNT 5.3 trillion (27.7 percent) from the same period of the
previous year. Net domestic assets have composing in growth of yearly of the
money supply.
