Mongolia, Portugal hold 2nd political consultative meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 2nd political consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Portuguese Republic was held in an online format on April 19.
During the meeting, which was held 14 years after the first consultation, the parties discussed bilateral relations and cooperation.
The Mongolian side expressed gratitude to Portugal for its support and expressed willingness to expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of environment, culture, education and tourism.
Moreover, the parties agreed to work for concluding intergovernmental agreements on mutual exemption from visa requirements and on cooperation in education, science, technology, higher education, culture, sports and media in the near future.
