Society
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As part of the
celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Embassy of Mongolia
in Russia, the Embassy of Mongolia in Moscow hosted a roundtable themed ‘Ways
to increase Mongolian exports to Russia’ on April 22.
The volume of trade decreased over the past 2-3 years due to
the Covid-19 pandemic. In this regard, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation U. Enkhtuvshin met with
Mongolian entrepreneurs who conduct business in Russia in aims of making
progress in increasing the volume of bilateral trade, as well as Mongolia's
exports to Russia. The parties exchanged views on the problems and
challenges that entrepreneurs faced when starting businesses in Russia, ways to
overcome them, the legal environment of the Russian Federation and issues that
Mongolian citizens and companies need to pay attention to when they start a
business in the country.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the Embassy of
Mongolia for organizing this event and noted that it would be useful to
organize such events on a regular basis to establish contacts between Mongolian
businesspeople in Russia and further expand Mongolian business activity in the
country.
