Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Meeting of the Advisory
Committee of the Olympic
Council of Asia (OCA) took place on May 2-3
in Seoul, Korea.
During the meeting, President
of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee and member of International Olympic
Committee B.Battushig introduced the reports on the preparation for the Gangwon
2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games and the General Assembly of the General Olympic
Committee, and shared his views on the role of sports in the fight against
climate change, and the possibility to cooperate with OCA.
The sides also exchanged information on the digital transition being implemented by the NOC of the Republic of Korea and the possibility of working in an electronic meta-environment, and agreed to study opportunities for cooperation in technological innovation. He also shared his experience on the virtual Mongolian house project implemented during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
