‘Public football’ event begins at Sukhbaatar Square

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The
Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) has launched the 'Public Football' event on
May 8, 2022, at the Sukhbaatar Square.
Within the framework of its
long-term strategic program ‘8 years 8 goals’, the federation is working to
develop public football in line with international standards.
In its framework, a comprehensive
‘Public Football’ project has been developed to expand the scope of football
and increase the participation of football fans, parents, and volunteers. Under
the auspices of the President of Mongolia, the event is being co-organized by
the President’s Office, the Capital City Governor's Office, the Capital City Sports
Department, the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the General
Authority for Education.
As part of the project, various
works are planned to be carried out such as building standard football fields
in 21 aimags, organizing training and competitions for secondary school
methodologists, and distributing 2,100 footballs to schools in aimags, soums,
and districts.
