A.Battogtokh becomes first Mongolian to conquer Mount Makalu

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Battogtokh, a mechanical engineer of the Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport and a member of the ‘Horizon mountaineering club’, have conquered the Mount Makalu and hoisted the Mongolian national flag.

 

A.Battogtokh, who went to Nepal last April, became the first Mongolian to conquer the Mount Makalu, the fifth tallest mountain in the world at 8,463 meters above sea level.

 

Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia (MCAA) S.Munkhnasan congratulated A.Battogtokh for achieving his goal.
