Foreign Minister meets DPRK ambassador

B.Battsetseg received Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the DPRK
to Mongolia O Sung Ho.
During the meeting, Minister B.Battsetseg expressed concern over the spread of COVID-19 infection in the DPRK, noting that the two countries have a good tradition of supporting each other during difficult times. They also discussed the sustainable development of traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as bilateral cooperation in the international and regional arenas and humanitarian sector.
Noting that DPRK is celebrating the 110th birth anniversary of the Korean leader Kim Il Sung and 80th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il, the Ambassador said that generations of leaders have made significant contributions to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the DPRK. The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the Mongolian side for extending a helping hand to the DPRK in difficult times and expressing its emotional and material supports.
