Regular meeting of ‘Khuraldai’ club takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At an initiative of the
Parliament Speaker G.Zandanshatar, a consulting club of former speakers
‘Khuraldai’ held its regular meeting on July 4.
The meeting was attended by former chairmen of the
State Great Khural R. Gonchigdorj, N.Bagabandi, S.Tumur-Ochir,
N.Enkhbayar, Ts.Nyamdorj, D.Lundeejantsan, D.Demberel, Z.Enkhbold and
M.Enkhbold.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the State
Great Khural G. Zandanshatar presented some laws and regulations adopted during the
regular spring session, and current economic situation of Mongolia. The club members
mutually exchanged opinions and recommendations.
‘Khuraldai’ club is a voluntary mechanism to work for
improving the legislative process, further developing the parliamentary system,
adopting debate principles based on research and science, exchanging mutual
experiences, discussing pressing issues together, and organizing meetings and
discussions with parliamentarians.
