This project, which has been implemented for the past 20 years, has played an important role in reducing cardiovascular diseases and related deaths among the population of Mongolia and improving health. This cooperation project will continue until 2027 to improve the skills of doctors and specialists and the capacity of the Cardiovascular Center of the Shastin-3rd State Central Hospital.

In frames of the project, two severe cardiovascular diseases were removed from the list of diseases which are necessarily treated abroad, thanks to the introduction and localization of advanced technology of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment in the health care services of the country. Thus, it became possible for citizens to receive high-quality diagnosis and treatment in their own country.
