Foreign Minister receives U.S. Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Mongolia Michael S. Klecheski upon the completion of his tenure.

Minister Battsetseg commended Ambassador Michael Klecheski for his continued
effort in expanding the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the U.S.
during his tenure in Mongolia, and for making an important contribution to
strengthening the strategic partnership. She also underscored his valuable support
for organizing high-level visits, consolidating mutual trust, combating
COVID-19, and receiving vaccine support from the U.S. Moreover, the Foreign
Minister noted that both sides attach great importance to the celebration of
the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between
Mongolia and the U.S. this year.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister presented a Golden Gerege souvenir to the outgoing Ambassador, wishing success in his future endeavors.
