President departs for Samarkand

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia U. Khurelsukh
today has left for Samarkand, the Republic of Uzbekistan, to participate as an
observer in the Meeting of the Council of Heads of the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States.
During the event, the President plans to hold bilateral
meetings with the heads of member states of SCO and observer countries to exchange
views on issues of mutual interest.
Moreover, he will participate in the 6th regular
tripartite meeting of the Heads of State of Mongolia, Russia, and China, which
was postponed for two years due to the pandemic, to discuss the establishment
of the ‘Economic Corridor Program’ for the three countries, and the implementation
of a project of natural gas pipeline.
