Bilateral cooperation in trade and economy discussed

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada Ya. Ariunbold
met with Canada’s Chief Trade Commissioner and Assistant Deputy Minister at
Global Affairs Canada Sara Wilshaw on September 15. During the meeting, the two
sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, and
investment.
The meeting covered important issues such as exploring
opportunities of introducing the experience and operational model of Canada’s
Trade Commissioner Service, capacity building of trade experts, development of
e-commerce, establishing direct flights between the two countries,
strengthening investors’ confidence, offering assistance and advice to public
servants and private sector for increased trade and investment, creating a
bilateral trade consultation mechanism, growing trade capacity, and observance
of strategic policies.
