Mongolia, Belarus hold political consultationPolitics
Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The 5th political
consultative meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus was held today, September 21.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia B. Munkhjin and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.F. Aleinik.
During the meeting, the parties mutually introduced the current socioeconomic situation and the implementation of policies and development goals of the two countries, and discussed in detail the expansion of bilateral relations in the fields such as economy, agriculture, education, and science. In addition, the parties discussed issues of regional and international relations and expressed mutual positions.
This year marks 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Belarus. Within this frame, the two countries are actively holding cooperation dialogues such as meetings of intergovernmental commission and political consultations in addition to the implementation of a series of events aimed at promoting bilateral business ties, history and arts.
