Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/. A ‘Bayan-Ulgii: Introduction of
Tourism’ guidebook, which includes tourism-related information on Bayan-Ulgii
aimag, has been published.
The guidebook, compiled by the local Environment and Tourism
Department, was printed with the support of SPACES Project, which is being
co-implemented by Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and Deutsche
Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ). Tourist representative of this project Mikey
Quitters handed over the books to a head of the local Environment and Tourism
Department Sh. Marat.
The guidebook provides a Mongolian-English brief
introduction about Bayan-Ulgii aimag and its soums, beautiful landscapes, tourism
activities that are organized in the aimags, travel routes, hotels, tourist
centers, branded products, entertainment facilities and information about the businesses
that manufacture handicrafts and operate tourism business.
