O.Darkhijav wins silver medal in Asian Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Darkhijav Otgonbayar won the silver medal in the weight category of 76 kg by lifting 98 kg (-94, 95, 98) at snatch in Asian Weightlifting Championship 2022 in Manama, Bahrain.
During the clean and jerk, she lifted 115 kg /108 kg, 115 kg, and -119 kg/, and in total, she lifted 213 kilograms, placing her in 4th.
Four female weightlifters are participating in the ‘Manama-2022’ Asian Weightlifting Championship headed by State Honored Coach Ts.Khosbayar and three of them already won medals. E.Enkhtamir won a silver medal in the weight category of 59 kg at the snatch podium, G.Anujin won duo bronze in weight 71 kg at the snatch and total score; O.Darkhijav won a silver medal in weight 76 kg at the snatch.
Today, World Champion and State Honored Athlete M.Ankhtsetseg will take the podium in weight 87 kg.
