Mongolia to host Continental Hockey Tournament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Asia and Oceania Championship will be held in Ulaanbaatar from February 26 to March 5, 2023.
The IIHF's Asia Pacific Strategic Planning Group had a meeting
with representatives of IIHF member national federations in Abu Dhabi to
present the evaluation and coordination of the new strategic plan for the Asia
Oceania region, ICE 26, along with the preparation for the new international
season. During this meeting, IIHF decided to host the tournament in Mongolia.
The national teams of Indonesia, India,
Iran, Macau (China), Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and
Uzbekistan will compete in the tournament that will take place in Mongolia.
More than 400 people, including 198 athletes from the 9 teams, as mentioned
earlier, judges, and official guests, will arrive in Mongolia. The Mongolian
Hockey Federation has taken a great responsibility to host and organize the
tournament for young hockey players under 18 in their country.
