Eagle Festival to be Held

Ulaanbaatar, February 26, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department, the Mongolian Eagle Falconers’ Association, and the “Chinggis Khaan Palace” tourist camp will jointly organize the Eagle Festival at “Chinggis Khaan Palace” tourist camp in Ulaanbaatar on March 4-5.
The event aims to welcome the spring and promote Kazakh people’s customs, traditions, and culture, inherit them to the young generation, and attract foreign and domestic tourists.
The following competitions and performances will be organized
during the event:
- Parade with an eagle (selection of the best eagle hunter with the best national costume, eagle, and horse equipment)
- Selection of well-trained eagle
- Kazakh national game (leather bag grabbing).
