President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa Receives Speaker of Lok Sabha of India Om Birla

Ukhnaa received the Speaker of the Lok Sabha of India Om Birla.
The President emphasized that
Mongolia attaches top priority to the "Strategic Partnership"
relationship that Mongolia is developing with India, "spiritual
neighbor", "third neighbor" and an important partner in the
region. Noting that our relations and cooperation are being mostly developed in
the fields of security, defense, education and culture, he underlined his determination
to work actively in the fields of mining, agriculture, and health. The president expressed his willingness to further consolidate mutual
support and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the United Nations and other
international organizations.
In addition, he congratulated
the Republic of India for the successful chairmanship of SCO and G-20, and
invited the Indian side to participate in the 17th Conference of Parties to the
United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP17) to be held in
Mongolia in 2026.
Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om
Birla conveyed the greetings of the President of India Droupadi Murmu to the
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, and expressed his willingness to
expand and develop relations and cooperation with Mongolia at all levels. He
also stressed to cooperate towards increasing regional cooperation in the fight
against climate change and desertification within the framework of the
"Billion Trees" and "Food Supply and Security" national
movements initiated by the President.
The parties praised the joint
organization of the Mongolian-Indian field exercise of Special Forces “Nomadic
Elephant” and the international peacekeeping exercise “Khaan Quest”. In addition,
they confirmed their support for commissioning the Oil Refinery, a symbol of
cooperation between the two countries, within a scheduled date.
