National Naadam Festival Closes

Ulaanbaatar, July 12, 2023 /MONTSAME/ The National Naadam Festival has closed with a short concert and the closing announcement by the President, just after the 9th round of the Wrestling tournament ended at the Central Stadium.
In this year^s Naadam young wrestler Badarch Myagmar won the Wrestling tournament for the first time, gaining "Lion" title.
During the wrestling tournament the President of Mongolia presented certificates and medals to the winners of wrestling, archery, knucklebone shooting and horse race tournaments.
Today the President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, the Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar Gombojav, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai visited a horse trainers' camp at Khui Doloon Khudag.
This year marks the 2232th Anniversary of establishment of the First Statehood in Mongolia, 817th Anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 112th Anniversary of Restoration of National Independence and Freedom, and 102nd Anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia.
