Foreign Minister Battsetseg to Pay an Official Visit to Canada

Ulaanbaatar, November 20, 2023 /MONTSAME. At the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mélanie Joly, Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh is to pay an Official Visit to Canada on November 20-22, 2023.
During the Visit, Foreign Minister Battsetseg will pay a courtesy call on Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada Greg Fergus and hold official talks with Foreign Minister of Canada Mélanie Joly. Ms. Battsetseg will also meet with members of the Canada-Mongolia Parliamentary Group and some Members of the Cabinet of Canada.
At the official talks, the two sides will exchange views on expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries in trade, economy, mining, agriculture, and education under the Mongolia-Canada “Expanded Partnership,” as well as international and regional issues of mutual interest.
The Visit is remarkable as it will be held as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada.
