Mongolian Player Claims Bronze at the World Snooker Championships

Ulaanbaatar, November 28, 2023 /MONTSAME. Mongolian snooker player Narantuya Bayarsaikhan has demonstrated her power on the international stage, clinching a bronze medal at the recently concluded IBSF World Snooker Championships 2023. Held in Doha, Qatar, from November 5 to 24, the Championships saw Narantuya’s brilliant skills and resilience, navigating through a series of challenging matches to secure a podium finish in the Women 6-Red Snooker. 


Narantuya emerged victorious from her group, defeating players from Hong Kong, India, and Poland. Her impressive performance propelled her to the semi-finals, where she defeated a formidable opponent from Germany with a score of 4-2, paving the path to the final. 


Narantuya faced a highly skilled Indian player in the final match. Despite putting up a valiant battle, she fell just short of the gold, ultimately securing a well-deserved bronze medal. This achievement marks a significant milestone for B. Narantuya and further cements her position as a rising star in the world of snooker. 


In addition, B. Narantuya brought home a bronze medal from the 2022 Asian Billiards Championship.
