Foreign Minister Battsetseg Receives Honorary Consul Kyung-Mo Ahn

Ulaanbaatar, February 14, 2024 /MONTSAME/. On February 13, 2024, Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh received Kyung-Mo Ahn, recently appointed Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Gangwon and Gyeonggi provinces of the Republic of Korea, and congratulated him for assuming his office.
At the Meeting, Foreign Minister Battsetseg highlighted the expanding “Strategic Partnership” relations and cooperations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea and intensifying people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. The Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the newly appointed Honorary Consul would exert his all efforts to further deepen Mongolia-South Korea relations and accelerate the bilateral cooperation in various areas, including tourism, culture, art, and education.
Honorary Consul Kyung-Mo Ahn expressed commitment to actively working towards fostering relations and cooperation between the two countries and protecting the interests of Mongolian citizens residing in South Korea.
