Music Lovers Rejoice! Playtime Festival Announces 2024 Dates

Ulaanbaatar, February 29,  2024. /MONTSAME/. Calling all Mongolian and international music lovers, the highly anticipated Playtime Festival has officially announced its dates for 2024.


The Festival will immerse festivalgoers in its electrifying experiences for four days straight, from June 4th to 7th, 2024. The Festival will be held at the Playtime Complex, a venue currently under construction dedicated for this iconic event.


This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring over 50 talented bands and artists from 21 countries across the globe. The first wave of the lineup includes some impressive names, including:

  • Deafheaven (USA) - Post-metal
  • Teenage Fanclub (Scotland) - Alternative Rock
  • Toe (Japan) - Post-rock/Math rock
  • Vomitory (Sweden) - Death metal
  • NaraBara (Inner Mongolia, China) - Modern world music sensation


From Mongolia, the legendary Ineemseglel band, with their rich 45-year history, will grace the stage alongside the talented E. Minjinsor. Music fans will also be thrilled to witness the triumphant return of the beloved "Night Train" band after a 17-year hiatus.


The Playtime Festival's "Late Bird" tickets went on sale today and will be available until March 11, 2024. 


With the ambitious goal of becoming one of Asia's top five music festivals by 2027, the Festival expects to attract 40,000 attendees, create over 4,000 temporary jobs, and collaborate with more than 200 businesses this year.
