Mongolian Young Mathematicians Win Six Medals
SocietyUlaanbaatar, July 22, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A Mongolian team of young mathematicians won six medals at the 65th International Mathematics Olympiad held in Bath, United Kingdom.
Specifically, a 12th-grade student from “Sant School” D. Enerelt won a gold medal while T. Bilguungerel from “Erkhet Erdem School” and O. Tengis from the School № 11 got silver medals. D. Bilgutei from School № 11, S. Manlai from “Sant School” and Kh. Nursoltan from School № 11 received bronze medals.
With this achievement, the Mongolian Team scored 142 points, placing 13th at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad. The Mongolian Team was lead by B. Batbayasgalan and U. Batzorig.
Over the last five years, Mongolian mathematicians won five golds, six silvers, and thirteen bronze medals from International Mathematics Olympiads.
