President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Receives Ambassador of France to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, July 30, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia Sebastien Surun on July 30, 2024, upon the completion of his term in Mongolia.


At the meeting, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa emphasized that relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the French Republic have intensified in recent years and the two Presidents of the two countries reciprocated State Visits in 2023.


President Khurelsukh commended the notable progress made in implementing the decisions agreed upon by the two Heads of State during the State Visits and expressed appreciation for the contribution and efforts of Ambassador Sebastien Surun to the cause of strengthening our bilateral relations.



Ambassador Sebastien Surun expressed his gratitude to the Mongolian state, government and people for their all-round support and cooperation over the past three years. The Ambassador expressed confidence that the projects and programs agreed upon by the two Heads of State would be successfully implemented and that Mongolia-France relations and cooperation would deepen in all fields in the coming years.


President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa awarded Ambassador Sebastien Surun the "Friendship" Medal in recognition of his notable contributions and dedication to deepening relations and cooperation between Mongolia and France.
