Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Receives U.S. Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar, August 12, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve received Richard Buangan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Mongolia on August 12, 2024.
During the meeting, Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan expressed his satisfaction with the active relationship and cooperation between Mongolia and the United States, which has been developing based on shared democratic values. The Chairman emphasized that the State Great Khural of Mongolia will provide all-round support to the strengthening of the Strategic Third Neighbor Partnership between the two countries and the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Richard Buangan congratulated Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan on his election as Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia and expressed his commitment to further expanding and deepening the relationship between Mongolia and the United States in all sectors. The Ambassador highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
The two sides exchanged views on intensifying cooperation between the State Great Khural of Mongolia and the U.S. Congress, including cooperation between parliamentary groups, reported the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
