Events in
Ulaanbaatar:
August 25-September 5: A short-term training for the light and sound technicians of the cultural centers in Mongolia, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, School of Culture, and “Protec” LLC will continue.
September 2: Mongolian universities, secondary schools, and kindergartens will begin the school year for 2024-2025.
September 2: The Ministry of Finance of Mongolia will make a press briefing on the draft law on the State Budget for 2025.
September 2: A ceremony to honor Radnaa Tseren, the 90-year-old senior athlete who won six gold medals at the World Championships, will be held at the ceremonial hall of the State Committee of Physical Education and Sports of Mongolia.
September 2: Opening ceremony of the Hackathon competition to create prototypes to solve issues in the healthcare sector of Mongolia based on open-source data.
September 2: The nomination period for the 2024 Elections for the Citizens Representative Khurals of Aimags, Capital City, Soums, and Districts will close.
September 3: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin will pay an official visit to Mongolia, in commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the Battles of Khalkhiin Gol.
September 3: Alexandrov Ensemble, the official army choir of the Russian Armed Forces, will perform at the Sukhbaatar Square at 21:00, open for all visitors.
September 4: Regular Session of the Cabinet of Mongolia will be held in the State Palace of Mongolia.
Until September 5:
Candidates for the 2024 Elections for the Citizens Representative Khurals of Aimags, Capital City, Soums, and Districts will hand
over their documents to their respective Election Commissions.
September 7: The XMF 2024 “Tsetsgee vs. Bilgee” concert will be held.
September 7, 8: “Flexible and Luxury” international contortionists’ performance, jointly organized by the Governor’s Office of the Capital City of Mongolia, the “Ulaanbaatar Theatre”, Ulaanbaatar Circus, and the Моngolian Professional Contortion Association will take place at the “Ulaanbaatar Theatre.”
September 8: The annual “Mongolian Steppe” International Marathon will take place at the Khui Doloon Khudag Valley.
September 11: The "THIS IS NOW" Exhibition, jointly organized by the Mongolian Union of Artists and the Der Ruhrländische Künstlerbund (RKB) in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia
and the Federal Republic of Germany will close.
September 5-15: The second stage of kindergarten registration will be held through the E-Mongolia digital system.
Until September 16: The “Khalkh Gol-85 Years” Exhibition in commemoration of the 85 Anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol will be on display at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia.
Until September 18: "Resilience - Stories of Women Inspiring Change" Special Exhibition is on display.

August 29-September 8: The Paris 2024 Paralympics is underway, with 12 Mongolian athletes competing.
Local Events:
September 4: The selection of the "Khalkh Tsogt Prince's Stone Inscriptions" calligraphy competition and exhibition will be held at the Duut Stone Monument in Delgerkhaan soum, Tuv aimag.
