Mongolia-Japan Tourism Business-to-Business Meeting Held

Ulaanbaatar, September 2, 2024 /MONTSAME/. As of July 2024, Mongolia has received over 436 thousand foreign tourists, with around 12,500 coming from Japan.

 

The Mongolia Tourism Organization (MTO), the MTO Branch Union on the Japanese market, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) jointly organized the Mongolia-Japan Tourism Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting on August 30, 2024.

 

At the B2B meeting, numerous presentations were delivered, including “Tourism Policy, Actions Taken” by an analyst of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia N. Bolormaa, “Current Situation of Mongolian Tourism Sector, Future Trends” by CEO of the MTO M. Narangerel and “Introduction on a Special Product of MTO Branch Union on Japan Market” by Head of the MTO Branch Union on Japan Market B. Batzorig.

 

A total of 40 tourism enterprises from Mongolia and Japan participated in the B2B meeting and Mongolian tour operators in Japan exchanged information and views with Japanese tourism companies on tour programmes and promoting traditions, culture, and lifestyles of the two countries.
