Mongolian Delegation Participates in the Third Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit

Ulaanbaatar, October 7, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A delegation from Mongolia, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the State of Kuwait Sergelen Purev, participated in the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit held in Doha, the State of Qatar, on October 2-3, 2024. 


The Heads of State and Government, and Ambassadors from 35 countries attended the ACD Summit held under the theme “Sports Diplomacy.” The ACD member countries expressed their positions and approved the Doha Declaration, as an outcome of the Summit. 


In his speech at the Summit, Ambassador Sergelen Purev emphasized the significance of sports in advancing diplomacy, as they play an integral part in uniting the world, regardless of ethnicity, race, age, gender, religion, and culture. Ambassador Sergelen noted that sports remain an integral part of Mongolian culture.


During the Summit, the delegation from Mongolia took part in the Business Forum and presented Mongolia’s economy and investment opportunities.
