The Forum was organized by the Government of Turkmenistan to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy. Heads of State from Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as high-level officials from Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Turkiye, attended the event.

During the Forum, President Khurelsukh met with the leaders of several countries, exchanging views on bilateral relations and cooperation on regional and international fora.

Scholars have noted that the works of the distinguished poet Magtymguly Pyragy, rooted in the ideals of unity and friendship among the Turkmen people, continue to play a significant role in shaping the patriotism and moral education of the younger generations.

In 2023, UNESCO issued a resolution commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy and registered him in the “Memory of the World” Program.
