"Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam 2025" to Be Held in June

Ulaanbaatar, February 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia has issued an order to organize the "Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam 2025," a unique cultural and religious festival of the Mongols, on June 21-22, 2025, at the National Sports Stadium of Mongolia and Khui Doloon Khudag.


The Festival’s horse racing events will be held at Khui Doloon Khudag, while the traditional Mongol wrestling will feature 256 wrestlers, along with competitions featuring 64 wrestlers from the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, alongside the Tsam Dance performances, all of which will take place at the National Sports Stadium of Mongolia. Additionally, archery and knucklebone shooting competitions will be organized at designated areas within the Stadium.


For reference, the "Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam" Festival was revived in 2015 and was traditionally held every August. However, starting in 2025, the Festival will be held in June.
