Events in Ulaanbaatar:

March 17: The Spring Session of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia will commence.

March 17: The Mongolian Bankers Association and Banking and Finance Academy will present a study titled "Banking Sector Review 2024."

March 17: The Australian Embassy in Ulaanbaatar will organize "Australia Week 2025."

March 17: The book launch of the Economic Dictionary will take place at the former building of the National Library of Mongolia.

March 17: A Women's Leadership Forum (WLP) panel discussion will be held at the Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar as part of the Australian Scholarship Program.

March 17: The solo exhibition opening of "Setgeliin Khelkhees" [Threads of the Soul] by Indian artist Renu Kumar will be held at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts.

March 18: Mongolia will celebrate Mongolian Soldiers’ Day.

March 18: Mongolia Australia Society - Mozzies Association will organize a meeting on "Sustainable Development and Green Energy."

March 18: The exhibition "Victory in the Great Patriotic War – Our Shared Victory" will open at the National Art Gallery of Mongolia, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory.

March 19: The Australian Volunteers Program will hold a seminar on "Understanding People with Hearing Disabilities" at the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel’s Suld Hall.

March 20: The 2nd National Conference on Mongolian Oral and Maxillofacial Studies, Healthy Teeth – Healthy Future, will take place.

March 21: World Poetry Day will be observed.

March 21: International Day of Forests will be marked.

March 22: Mongolia will mark the 44th anniversary of the first space flight by a Mongolian.

March 22: Mongolia will celebrate the Traditional Spring Festival of the Mongolian Kazakhs Nauryz (Nowruz).

March 22-23: The Puppet Theatre of Mongolia will present the children’s play Mogjookhon Daagatai Jogjookhon Khuu.

March 23: World Meteorological Day and World Water Day will be observed.

March 24: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia, the Water Agency of Mongolia, and the School of Public Health at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) will host the 19th Student Research and Theoretical-Practical Conference under the theme "Water - Key to Development."

March 25: The JANTSANNOROV Foundation and the State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia will present a concert featuring the compositions of renowned Mongol composer Jantsannorov Natsag at the Central Cultural Palace of Mongolia.


Until April 1: The "Mutual Respect" Campaign will continue nationwide.


Local Events:

March 17: A Consumer Rights Day event will be held at the International Trade Center in Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge aimag.

March 17: A joint open house event for military and law enforcement agencies will take place at Munkh-Aldar Square, Tuv aimag.

March 17: The Governor’s Office of Selenge aimag, Save the Children Japan, and the Aimag Association for Persons with Disabilities will organize the "Ert Tusmaa" [The Earlier, the Better] early intervention event.

March 21-23: The National Junior Wood Wrestling Championship will be held in Arkhangai aimag.

March 22-23: The Selenge Aimag Junior Volleyball Championship will be held in Mandal soum.

March 23: The Swimming Championship will be held in Selenge soum, Selenge aimag.


Events Abroad:

The “Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition will be on display at the Czech National Museum in Prague, the Czech Republic until June 22, 2025.
