Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Exchanges Views on Digital Governance

London, March 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve is paying an official visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on March 18-23, 2025.
On March 19, 2025, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve met with Head of Architecture at Parliamentary Digital Service Rupert Hay-Campbell, and Head of Innovation and Initiatives at Parliamentary Digital Service Elizabeth Axe.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on e-governance, e-parliament, policies, and projects implemented in digitalizing public services and ensuring information security. Speaker Amarbayasgalan also met with Chairman of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Fabian Hamilton. The two parties exchanged views on relations and cooperation between the supreme legislative bodies of the two countries.
The Speaker the State Great Khural highlighted the goals set by the newly established Parliament, the “Three Perfections” policy aimed at strengthening parliamentary governance, as well as the initiatives and legal reforms being implemented to develop Mongolia’s economy, boost trade, and increase investment.
