Three of the Four Teams to Compete in the Semi-Finals of "the League" Determined

Ulaanbaatar, March 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Three of the four basketball teams set to compete in the semifinals of the "League", organized by the Mongolian National Basketball Association, have been determined.


The first team to secure a spot in the semifinals was “Bishrelt Metal,” which swept “Zavkhan Brothers” 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs. They will face the winner of the “APES vs. Miners” series in the next round. Meanwhile, the defending champions “Khasiin Khuleguud” defeated “Darkhan United,” a team representing Darkhan City, in a 4-1 series victory.


The semifinal opponent for “Khuleguud” has also been decided. “Selenge Bodons” have strengthened the roster by adding NBA star DeMarcus Cousins and have set ambitious goals for the 2024-2025 season, aiming to win the championship and earn a spot in the East Asia Super League. To achieve that goal, the team must first overcome "Khuleguud" in the semifinals.
