Ulaanbaatar, March 31, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of March 31-April 6, 2025.
Events in Ulaanbaatar:
March 31: Meeting of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) and Democratic Party (DP) caucuses in the State Great Khural will be held.
April 1: Consultative meeting on Social Impact Assessment will be held at the UN Conference Hall.
April 1-2: Standing Committees of the State Great Khural will convene.
April 2: The regular session of the Cabinet of Mongolia will take place at the State Palace.
April 3-4: The State Great Khural’s plenary sessions will be held at the State Palace.
April 4: The first meeting and consultation on “Scholars’ Contribution to Local Development” with scholars from Dundgobi aimag will take place at the State Palace.
April 4: The artists of the State Academic Drama Theatre of Mongolia will present the historical drama “Tengeriin Khuu” by B. Tsognemekh.
April 5: A Ballet Gala Concert will grace the stage at the State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia.
April 5: The Khuur Magnai Orchestra of Mongolia will perform “The Wonders of Mongolian Art” at the Grand Hall of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia.
Local Events:
April 1: The Emergency Management Agency of Bayan-Ulgii aimag will conduct a disaster protection command staff exercise in all districts.
April 1: A literary evening featuring satirical writer and Mongolian Writers’ Union member M. Batai will be held at the Bayan-Ulgii Provincial Theatre in celebration of April Fool’s Day.
Events Abroad:
March 26-30: Mongolia’s men’s and women’s national teams will compete in the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Asian Championship in the Republic of Singapore.
The “Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition will be on display at the Czech National Museum in Prague, the Czech Republic until June 22, 2025.
