“Agin Undug” Egg Factory Fully Automated with Soft Loan under the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement

Ulaanbaatar, April 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Industrial Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia Davaabayar Chimiddorj visited the “Agin Undug” factory, which produces eggs in Bayankhongor soum of Bayankhongor aimag under the "Food Supply and Security" National Movement.
The factory currently has 12,000 laying hens and delivers 10,000-11,000 fresh eggs per day to the citizens of Bayankhongor soum and some soums of Uvurkhangai aimag.
The “Agin Undug” factory has raised its number of chickens from 2,500 to 12,000 within two years, and has two fully automated production facilities, thanks to a soft loan provided under the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement.
Founder of the “Agin Undug” factory E. Amgalanbaatar said, “Our factory has been operating stably since 2010 and has the capacity to meet 90 percent of the total egg consumption in the local area. We received a loan provided within the framework of the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement in 2023, and we have acquired all necessary equipment for the factory and have two poultry houses.
Supporting small and medium-sized food producers under the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement, we will have a great opportunity to produce and consume healthy and safe food domestically.”
